One of the final stops on the road to the Oscars, the SAG Awards, the ceremony was held overnight. Some of the big winners could be taking home another statue in a couple of weeks. Lara will be there, but right now she is here. It was a big weekend.

Lara (00:13):

Yes, it was Robin, a huge weekend. If you couldn’t find the SAG Awards on TV last night, that’s because they only aired on Netflix’s YouTube channel. A smaller platform for sure this year, but the stakes couldn’t be higher for all of the nominees as we get closer to the Oscars. And right now, all of the momentum seems to be behind the zany, sweet, so weird it’s genius movie, Everything Everywhere All at Once.

So great to see him win Everything Everywhere. Of course, the momentum is there. But not too late guys for Top Gun and all the other nominees. The voting for the Oscars doesn’t start until this Thursday. So perhaps there’s still time to change voters’ minds. Also, we need to mention another big winner this weekend, Rebecca Jarvis. The show you created and executive produced The Dropout won for Best Limited Series. Congratulations.

Rebecca Jarvis (02:53):

Thank you guys. I mean, that team is such an incredible team that put together The Dropout here at ABC News and with Searchlight and Hulu. And of course, I missed the actual celebration because it was my daughter’s kids’ birthday this weekend. So we rang it in at the gym, the kids’ gym.
