Russian President Vladimir Putin has tightened security at the only bridge that links the Crimean peninsula with Russia.

This after an explosion that damaged the bridge that Moscow uses to transport weapons for his war in Ukraine. Massive flames and black smoke rose from the bridge to Crimea today. Part of the road beneath it collapsed into the sea. Russia’s state media said a bomb exploded just after 6:00 AM, setting fire to several railway oil tankers. The blast comes as Ukrainian forces continue to retake more territory. With Russia losing ground, President Biden expressed concern about the threat of a Russian nuclear attack. In an interview with the BBC, Zelinsky agreed with President Biden.
