Rev Partners with Seattle International Film Festival as Exclusive Captions Provider

The Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) is back live in theaters for the first time since 2019, and Rev is thrilled to join the party as this year’s official Captions Partner.

SIFF 2022, in keeping with safety considerations and the industry’s push for broader audience accessibility, will be hosted in a hybrid format featuring both in-person and virtual screenings and events. 

As SIFF’s exclusive captions provider and accessibility partner, Rev is captioning more than 250 films, or 15,000 minutes of content. Plus, Rev and SIFF will continue to partner throughout 2022, ensuring accessible content and programming is here to stay.

With the growing accessibility movement in the film industry, Rev has partnered with multiple film organizations to provide 99% accurate captions at a discount, allowing for these non-profit organizations to expand accessible content without straining budgets.

In the last few years, Rev has been proud to team up with trailblazing organizations including the Sundance Film Festival, Alamo Drafthouse’s Fantastic Fest, and the International Documentary Association. 

SIFF 2022 will run for 11 days, from April 14-24. The festivities kick off tonight, with an Opening Night Gala at the Paramount Theater in downtown Seattle.
