Stay Up-to-Date with Rev’s New Order Status Information

Everybody likes tracking their orders. You buy that new exotic iguana online, you refresh the tracking link a couple of times a day (or, uh, more if you’re us), and a few days later, your new tropical lizard arrives right at your door.

Pretty great, right?

Well, now you can do the same thing when you order Rev transcripts or captions!

In our ongoing effort to provide our customers with the best possible services, we’ve revamped the Order Details information on our Order History page. Now, Rev customers have a single source of truth to see when the file has been picked up, a visual representation of the progress, and an estimated time remaining before delivery. 

For anyone with tight deadlines or dependent workflows, this new feature will provide you with up-to-date information on the status of your order and when you can expect it to be completed.

Intriguing… Can You Tell Me More About What Information Will Be Available?

All kinds of useful information! Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll find in these new Order Details: 

1. A column labeled “Estimated Time Remaining,” which will provide a time-range estimate depending on the length of your files (e.g. days, hours, or mins). If, for some reason, your order is delayed or flagged for a redo, those statuses will appear over your estimated time remaining.
2. A column labeled “Order Status,” which will be split into Order Confirmed, Finding Transcriptionist, Transcribing, Quality Check, and Order Complete. (If you ordered captions, you’ll see Finding Captioner and Captioning statuses.)
3. A status bar to give you an at-a-glance understanding of where your file is in the order cycle.

Awesome! Is This New Order Details Information Available for All of Rev’s Services?

Currently, the revamped Order Details feature is  only available for human transcription and captioning services, but it will be available for subtitles at a later date.

How Often Are My Order Details Updated/Refreshed?

We know you’re waiting for your transcripts and captions as eagerly as you were waiting for that iguana — that’s why every time you refresh the page, you should receive the latest information regarding your order.

Can I Check My Order from Anywhere?

Yes! The Order Details page is fully mobile responsive, so you can check your order status from your desktop or mobile device.
