Speaker 1 (03:41):

Good morning. Before we start, I'd just like to say we want every nominee to get their due today. So we'd like to just check an applause level. After each nomination, we'd like to get an applause. Can we hear a rehearsal on that, please? Okay. Appreciate it. Thank you very much. We're going to get started. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the president of the Golden Globes, Helen Hoehne.

Helen Hoehne (04:23):

Good morning and welcome to the announcement of the 83rd annual Golden Globe nominations. We will present our first group of nominations immediately following this introduction. The second group will be announced at exactly 5:30 A.M. and broadcast live on CBS Mornings. Hosted by acclaimed Golden Globe, Grammy and Emmy nominated comedian and actress, Nikki Glaser, the Golden Globes will take place here at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, January 11th, airing live on CBS and streaming on Paramount Plus. The show is produced by Dick Clark Productions along with White Cherry Entertainment. We're thrilled to have with us this morning Emmy winning executive producer, Golden Globe showrunner and director Glenn Weiss, as well as Emmy winning executive producer and showrunner Ricky Kirschner.

This year, the Golden Globes will honor recipients of the prestigious Cecil B.
