Brooke (00:00):

But I know another thing that we did want to bring up. Ryan Seacrest, the new host of Wheel of Fortune.

Speaker 2 (00:04):

Yes. Ryan Seacrest has been named the new host of Wheel of Fortune. Pat Sajak stepping down after 41 seasons. He announced that he is retiring … What? Just about a month or two ago, I believe. Lots of questions about who is going to replace him. Ryan Seacrest. I’m not a loyal Wheel of Fortune watcher. Brooke, you are.

Brooke (00:24):

I am a loyal Wheel of Fortune watcher.

Speaker 2 (00:26):

And you didn’t think it was the best pick.

Brooke (00:29):

Ryan Seacrest, known to be a host, of course. But Dancing with the Stars, former host Tom Bergeron maybe would’ve been a great pick as well. I mean, Pat Sajak and Vanna White have just been such a dynamic duo now for more than 40 years. And I feel like Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White, the dynamic will be interesting to watch. Of course, many loyal fans thought maybe Vanna would be the new host. Maggie Sajak, his daughter, would be behind the puzzle. Bit of a plot twist here. A bit of a plot twist.

Josh (00:56):

I think the last time I watched Ryan Seacrest, he was hosting American Idol. And I want to say Daughtry didn’t win, but I wanted Daughtry to win.

Brooke (01:04):

That’s a while ago.

Josh (01:04):

Yeah. So, that’s about-

Brooke (01:04):

That’s the time you watched Ryan Seacrest?

Josh (01:05):

That’s about my credibility.

Brooke (01:06):

Oh my God.

Josh (01:06):

Yeah.

Brooke (01:08):

I mean, Ryan Seacrest now, just-

Josh (01:10):

Yeah.

Brooke (01:10):

He’s a big name. I mean, he still hosts American Idol, if you didn’t know that.

Josh (01:13):

Needless to say, I don’t watch Wheel of Fortune.

Brooke (01:14):

All right.

Josh (01:14):

He still hosts American Idol?

Brooke (01:15):

He still hosts American Idol.

Josh (01:16):

I had no idea.

Brooke (01:16):

Which is now also on ABC.

Speaker 2 (01:17):

American Idol, I was going to say, or New Year’s Eve. You don’t watch any of the … No? LIVE with Kelly? Ryan Seacrest?

Josh (01:21):

Isn’t it still called Dick Clark’s-

Speaker 2 (01:22):

It is still called Dick Clark’s. Yeah. Exactly. So it’s kind of like, “Now Ryan Seacrest is doing this.”

Josh (01:26):

Okay. So, then I have seen that. I have seen that.

Speaker 2 (01:27):

“What is he going to do next?”

Brooke (01:30):

You haven’t seen LIVE with Kelly, which he recently just left, either?

Josh (01:31):

No.

Brooke (01:31):

All right.

Speaker 2 (01:31):

Yeah.

Brooke (01:32):

We’ll get you caught up.

Speaker 2 (01:32):

Well, it’s a very popular game show, and I think-

Josh (01:34):

I guess I got to tune in.

Speaker 2 (01:35):

I think it’s good. I think it is a smart move. We’ll see. But again, Ryan Seacrest, the new host of Wheel of Fortune. All right, Josh and Brooke. Thanks so much.
