Sandra Oh: (00:00)
Can everyone hear me?

Sandra Oh: (00:12)
Hi, my name is Sandra Oh. [inaudible 00:00:12] I am so fucking proud to be here with you [inaudible 00:00:14] all the organizers organizing this, just to give us an opportunity to be together and to stand together and to feel each other. For many of us in our community, this is the first time we were even able to voice our fear and our anger. And I really am so grateful for everyone willing to listen. I’m going to be very, very brief, but one thing that I know many of us in our community are very scared and I understand that. And one way to go through and get through our fear is reach out to our community, reach out everyone here.

Sandra Oh: (00:47)
I will offer a challenge everyone here, if you see something, will you help me? If you see one of our sisters and brothers in need, would you help us? So, we must understand, as Asian Americans, we need to reach out our hand to our sisters or brothers and say, “Help me.” And I’m here. And just for one thing, I am proud to be Asian. I want to hear you. I am proud to be Asian. I belong here. I am proud to be Asian. I belong here. Many of us don’t have that chance to be able to say that, so I just wanted to give us an opportunity to be able to shout that. Thank you so much.
