All Yellowstone entrances closed temporarily due to heavy flooding Transcript

And the heavy rain is also causing big problems in Yellowstone National Park. Look at this video that we just received. We want to show you, this is the Gardner Canyon area. One of the park’s entrances, Gardner, the west entrance, along with all the other entrances, are closed at least through Wednesday, due to the flooding and the rock slides and mudslides that took out this road in many different locations, different chunks. This came from the park, showing the damage at the North Entrance, Gardiner, Montana to Mammoth Hot Springs. This is the section of the road right here. Now, the park superintendent, Cam Sholly, said in a statement this afternoon, “The community of Gardiner has been cut off and the park is working with Montana to get help to them. And the park is working to evacuate visitors out of the park.” To help take care of people who were planning to take their RV into the park through Jackson, they can stay the night at the Teton County Fairgrounds at 305 Snow King Drive for tonight only.
