The Patriots released star wide receiver Antonio Brown on Friday after assault charges and a wild couple of weeks, Brown being released by two different teams over the course of a couple of weeks. Bill Belichick held a press conference and walked out after repeated questions by reporters about Antonio Brown. Read the full transcript.

We take all the situations with our team very seriously and there were some things that we’re looking into, but I’m not going to have any comment on any of the off the field situations or questions on that. So anything on football I could answer?

Bill Belichick : 00:38 Yeah. When we work on football, we work on football.
Reporter: 00:43 Coach, could you just talk a little bit about Antonio Brown’s role this weekend?
Bill Belichick : 00:49 No, I’m going to get into that. We’re going to do what’s best for the team like we always do.
Reporter: 00:57 You always say you want what’s best for the team. So how do you weigh with your players, their performance on the field with their behavior off the field and what’s best for the team involved?
Bill Belichick : 01:11 Yeah. Well that’s a big picture question. We answer it the best we can. There’s no set formula.
